These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Roots Athletic Center website, online services, registrations, purchases, facility reservations, and other interactions with Roots Athletic Center (“Roots Athletic Center,” “Roots,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using our website, registering for a program, making a purchase or reservation, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.

Certain programs, rentals, leagues, activities, or services may also be subject to additional agreements, policies, waivers, releases, or rules. If additional terms apply, you agree to comply with those terms as well.

1. Eligibility and Parent or Guardian Responsibility

You must be legally capable of entering into an agreement to make purchases, registrations, reservations, or other commitments through our website or services.

Registrations and agreements involving participants under 18 should be completed by the participant's parent or legal guardian when required.

If you register a minor participant, you represent that you are the participant's parent, legal guardian, or otherwise authorized to complete the registration and provide the required information and permissions.

Children should not independently submit registrations, payments, waivers, or other contractual information through our website without appropriate parent or guardian involvement.

2. Programs, Activities, and Services

Roots Athletic Center may offer programs and services including, but not limited to:

Leagues
Classes
Camps
Clinics
Tournaments
Training programs
Facility rentals
Field and court rentals
Birthday parties
Special events
Open-play or recreational activities
Third-party programs hosted at our facilities

Program descriptions, schedules, instructors, coaches, locations, formats, dates, and availability are subject to change.

Roots Athletic Center may modify, combine, postpone, relocate, or cancel programs when reasonably necessary due to enrollment, staffing, facility availability, weather, safety concerns, maintenance, emergencies, or other operational circumstances.

3. Registration

Registration is not complete until all required information has been submitted and any required payment has been successfully processed.

Certain programs may require additional documentation, including:

Participant waivers
Medical or emergency information
Parent or guardian consent
Facility-use agreements
Team information
Releases or acknowledgments

Roots Athletic Center may deny or cancel a registration if required information, payment, waivers, or other documentation is incomplete.

Registration availability is not guaranteed and may be limited by program capacity.

4. Bond Sports

Roots Athletic Center uses Bond Sports for certain registrations, scheduling, account management, communications, waivers, and payments.

When using Bond Sports in connection with Roots Athletic Center, you may also be subject to Bond Sports' own terms, privacy policies, and other applicable agreements.

Roots Athletic Center is not responsible for outages, technical failures, payment-processing failures, or other issues caused solely by independently operated third-party platforms, although we will make reasonable efforts to assist customers when appropriate.

5. Pricing and Payment

Prices for programs, rentals, services, products, and events will be displayed or otherwise communicated at the time of registration or purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, payment is due according to the payment terms provided for the applicable program, rental, service, or agreement.

You agree to provide accurate billing and payment information.

You authorize Roots Athletic Center and its payment-processing providers to charge the payment method provided for amounts you have agreed to pay.

Prices may be changed for future registrations, rentals, programs, or purchases.

Roots Athletic Center will endeavor to clearly disclose required fees and charges before a customer completes a transaction.

6. Payment Plans and Recurring Charges

Certain programs, memberships, rentals, or services may be offered using installment payments or recurring charges.

If you enroll in a recurring or automatic payment arrangement, the specific:

Frequency
Billing schedule
Duration
Renewal terms
Cancellation requirements

will be disclosed in connection with that particular purchase or agreement.

By enrolling, you authorize Roots Athletic Center and its payment processor to charge the payment method provided according to the disclosed billing schedule until the applicable obligation has been satisfied or the recurring arrangement has been properly canceled.

Any cancellation rights applicable to a recurring arrangement will be provided in accordance with applicable law and the terms of the applicable program or agreement.

7. Cancellations, Refunds, and Credits

Cancellation and refund policies may vary depending on the program, league, camp, clinic, rental, birthday party, event, membership, or other service.

The cancellation policy provided during registration or in the applicable agreement controls for that transaction.

Unless otherwise stated in the applicable program or rental terms:

Fees already earned or incurred may be nonrefundable.
Administrative, processing, or other disclosed fees may be nonrefundable where permitted by law.
Failure to attend a program or activity does not automatically entitle a participant to a refund or credit.
Requests for refunds or credits may be subject to deadlines.
Credits, when issued, may have conditions or expiration dates disclosed at the time they are issued.

Nothing in these Terms limits any cancellation or refund right that cannot legally be waived.

8. Program Cancellations by Roots Athletic Center

Roots Athletic Center may cancel, postpone, reschedule, or modify programs due to circumstances including:

Severe weather
Unsafe conditions
Facility closures
Maintenance or equipment issues
Staffing issues
Insufficient enrollment
Government orders
Emergencies
Events outside our reasonable control

When Roots Athletic Center cancels a program or activity, we may offer, depending on the circumstances:

A rescheduled session
A substitute session
Account credit
Partial refund
Full refund

The remedy provided may depend on the applicable program and the circumstances of the cancellation.

9. Weather and Facility Closures

Roots Athletic Center may close or modify operations when we determine conditions make participation or facility operation unsafe or impractical.

Weather-related cancellations, makeups, refunds, and credits will be handled according to the policy applicable to the affected program or rental.

Roots Athletic Center is not responsible for transportation costs, lodging, lost wages, or other indirect expenses resulting from a schedule change or closure.

10. Participant Waiver and Assumption of Risk

Participation in athletic, recreational, fitness, or physical activities involves inherent risks.

Participants may be required to complete a separate Waiver, Release, and Assumption of Risk Agreement before participating in activities at Roots Athletic Center.

For minor participants, the required waiver may need to be completed by a parent or legal guardian.

These Terms do not replace any separate participant waiver, release, assumption-of-risk agreement, rental agreement, or similar agreement required by Roots Athletic Center.

If a separate waiver or agreement applies, its terms also govern the participant's use of the facility or participation in the applicable activity.

11. Facility Rules and Conduct

Everyone using Roots Athletic Center facilities is expected to behave safely, responsibly, and respectfully.

Participants, spectators, renters, coaches, parents, and guests must:

Follow posted facility rules
Follow instructions from Roots Athletic Center staff
Use equipment and facilities appropriately
Supervise children under their responsibility
Respect other participants, guests, employees, officials, and property
Avoid threatening, violent, abusive, disruptive, or unsafe behavior
Comply with rules applicable to the particular sport, league, rental, or activity

Roots Athletic Center may remove or refuse entry to any person who engages in unsafe, disruptive, abusive, threatening, unlawful, or otherwise inappropriate conduct.

Serious or repeated violations may result in suspension or termination of facility privileges without refund where permitted by law and appropriate under the circumstances.

12. Supervision of Children

Parents, guardians, coaches, renters, team representatives, and other responsible adults remain responsible for supervising children in their care unless the child is participating in a Roots Athletic Center program specifically providing staff supervision.

Children should not be left unattended in areas where supervision is required.

Roots Athletic Center is not responsible for providing general childcare unless childcare or supervised programming is specifically offered as part of the applicable service.

13. Personal Property

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings.

Roots Athletic Center is not responsible for lost, stolen, forgotten, or damaged personal property except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

We recommend that valuables not be left unattended.

Lost-and-found items may be discarded or donated after a reasonable period.

14. Damage to Property

Customers, participants, renters, organizations, and guests may be responsible for damage to Roots Athletic Center property caused by intentional misconduct, misuse, negligence, or violation of facility rules.

The responsible person or organization may be charged the reasonable cost of repairing or replacing damaged property where appropriate and legally permitted.

15. Facility Rentals

Facility rentals may be subject to a separate rental agreement containing additional terms regarding:

Rental areas
Payment
Deposits
Cancellation
Insurance
Supervision
Attendance
Setup and cleanup
Equipment
Damage
Conduct
Permitted uses

Renters are responsible for ensuring that their participants, employees, coaches, spectators, invitees, and guests comply with applicable Roots Athletic Center policies and facility rules.

Where there is a conflict between these Terms and a signed rental agreement, the specific rental agreement will control with respect to that rental.

16. Third-Party Organizations

Roots Athletic Center hosts programs, leagues, tournaments, training sessions, and other activities operated by independent organizations.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, those organizations are independent from Roots Athletic Center.

When registering directly with a third-party organization, you may be entering into an agreement with that organization rather than Roots Athletic Center.

Roots Athletic Center is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, policies, or contractual obligations of third-party organizations except as required by applicable law.

The Roots Athletic Center website and its content, including:

may be owned by Roots Athletic Center or used with permission.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, damages, claims, or expenses resulting from your unlawful use of our website, intentional misconduct, violation of these Terms, or damage caused by you to Roots Athletic Center property.

This provision does not require a consumer to indemnify Roots Athletic Center for Roots Athletic Center's own unlawful conduct or for matters that cannot legally be shifted to the consumer.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable federal law controls.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any applicable registration terms, waivers, rental agreements, policies, or other agreements, constitute the applicable agreement between you and Roots Athletic Center regarding the services covered by those documents.

Specific program, rental, or registration terms may supplement these general Terms.
