Football Fundamentals Training

Led by area High School and Youth coaches! Training sessions for football is essential for players of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced athletes looking to refine their techniques. These sessions focus on teaching the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the sport.

Summer Preseason Training Program

Players entering 7th-12th Grades.  Field training will be designed to improve overall footwork and football skills. Players will be trained on how to translate better footwork to better play on the field. Training is designed to help in all positions on the field. Training will be optimized to help players take improvements in the weight room to improvements in game play and ability. Coaches will utilize a series of cone drills, ladder drills and plyometric based explosive workouts to improve athletic performance.
 
Sports Performance training will utilize the track and weight room. Speed training on the track will target acceleration and top speed mechanics. Weight room training will incorporate resistance and plyometric training to develop the ability to express strength at high speeds.

The key fundamentals include blocking, passing, catching, running, and agility. Additionally, strength, speed, and conditioning are crucial aspects of football training.

No prior experience is necessary! Our youth football sessions are designed for beginners and experienced players alike. Our coaches tailor the instruction to accommodate varying skill levels and help each child progress at their own pace.

Participants should wear comfortable athletic clothing suitable for running and playing on the field. Cleats or athletic shoes are recommended. Don't forget to bring a labeled water bottle to stay hydrated during the sessions.

All training sessions run for 55 minutes.
